The Spanish team attended the IX International Congress in Psychological, Educational and Health Contexts (CICE) in Sevilla (Spain). They participated in one symposium titled “School absenteeism observatory: Data and challenges to promote school attendance” and moderated by Carolina Gonzálvez, the principal researcher of this project, in which three PhD students made different interventions. Concretely, Andrea Fuster-Rico discussed about “School refusal behavior and assertiveness”; Javier Martínez-Torres talked about “Prevalence of the causes that maintain school attendance problems as a function of gender: A descriptive study”; and María Pérez-Marco, had the opportunity to carry out the communication “School refusal behavior and academic self-efficacy in adolescents”.
