On 6, 7 and 8 June, the SOS-Attendance Observatory team met physically at the University of Messina (Italy). These three days were of great help in advancing the project and the next steps to be taken. The working proposal for the design of online training courses for parents and teachers on school attendance problems was met with particular interest. In addition, the I Workshop titled “An international comparison to combat school attendance problems” at the University of Messina. Teachers and researchers participated, presenting the school attendance issues of each country. Moreover, participants had the opportunity to display posters related to school attendance problems and various psychoeducational variables, many of which were results of the funded project.
