On 11, 12, 13, and 14 of December, the Spanish team attended the IX International Congress in Psychological, Educational and Health Contexts (CICE) in Sevilla (Spain). They participated in one symposium titled “School absenteeism observatory: Data and challenges to promote school attendance” and moderated by Carolina Gonzálvez, the principal researcher of this project, in which three PhD students made different interventions. Concretely, Andrea Fuster-Rico discussed about “School refusal behavior and assertiveness”; Javier Martínez-Torres talked about “Prevalence of the causes that maintain school attendance problems as a function of gender: A descriptive study”; and María Pérez-Marco, had the opportunity to carry out the communication “School refusal behavior and academic self-efficacy in adolescents”.
